Relaxayvoo: Organic Skincare Inspired by Nature and Elegance

Relaxayvoo is a London-based brand specialising in high-quality, organic skincare products. Inspired by both French elegance and the power of natural ingredients, the brand was founded by Constance Laperche, who sought to create simple, effective beauty solutions. Relaxayvoo emphasises luxury, sustainability, and craftsmanship, using ingredients like cold-pressed carrier oils and steam-distilled essential oils to create potent formulations. Their products are crafted in small batches to ensure freshness and are designed to rejuvenate and soothe both the skin and the senses.

Relaxayvoo offers a range of products such as face and body oils, herbal teas, and beauty tools like the Bian stone, all aimed at promoting self-care and well-being.

Each product is formulated with a focus on ethical practices, eco-friendly packaging, and high concentrations of active ingredients for maximum efficacy.

Growing older, I was keen to find a ‘miracle’ product for my skin that would help me age beautifully and naturally, without harming the planet. I couldn’t find this elusive ‘potion’ on the market, an oil that would deliver results, with a high proportion of potent active ingredients and a scent to transport me. I took the brave step of deciding to formulate it myself with the help of a beauty advisor and an Aromatherapist. In 2019 ‘Renew’ Night Face Oil was born alongside the brand Relaxayvoo.

According to our customers the ‘scent’ and ‘texture’ of the products stand out which makes us so happy as we worked hard to get our formulas ‘just right’. Relaxayoo organic skincare is hand-crafted in small batches with nature’s ingredients. And as one customer said, they don’t just reach skin deep but the scent transports you to the very essence of your soul.

Our customers are predominately over 30. They prioritise taking care of themselves, are drawn to natural products, care for the environment and are intentional in the way they consume. We had several enquiries about whether our oils would be suitable for younger skin, so rose to the challenge and developed an additional face oil formulated for teenage skin that has the popular ‘scent of green’ Pop ups are an excellent way to connect . A chance to introduce new customers to the scents, texture and excellent absorption of our oils. An opportunity to ask questions. Social media provides us with new opportunities for collaborative ideas. Our newsletter keeps our client base up to date with new products and upcoming special offers. Word of mouth is by far the best introduction. Nothing better than an established customer recommending Relaxayvoo.

The challenges we face running a business help us grow and each unexpected bump on the road positions us for better decisions- a learning process that I thrive on as it continually changes my outlook and approach. We meet so many interesting people along the way which really stirs my curiosity. Yesterday I got home and opened the door, and was met with the familiar citrus & woody scent of Relaxayvoo bath oil. That is a special everyday experience that makes me happy and proud . A real sense of achievement as it’s not just myself but family too that use our products daily. And of course receiving warm and positive feedback from customers really sparks energy and enthusiasm too.

When we started Relaxayvoo ‘Renew’ and ‘Protect’ our day and night face oils gained a faithful following. We realised the scent, texture & absorption were why people returned for more and so we wanted to apply this to every new product. There is so much alchemy involved in getting the blend so exacting, using highly regenerative & active ingredients. We are very proud of our latest Body Oils. Again I will rely on the words of a delighted customer who describes how she chooses which oil to wear after her shower based on her mood. ‘ If I feel positive and confident I choose the citrus notes of ‘Detox’ to match my energy whereas if I am having a harder emotional day then I’m swayed by the comforting scents of rose and geranium (‘Toning’ body oil) That one really feels like a reassuring hug! It took me a while to realise there was actually a pattern to my preferences.’

In the last 5 years, consumers are paying more attention to what they ‘consume’, the ingredients on cosmetics labels and how products are formulated. Their priorities have evolved towards a more conscious way of spending and supporting small ethical brands like Relaxayvoo. We continue to focus on our own core values rather than trends.

I find it inspiring watching my two daughters at the beginning of their own journey. I am a strong believer that everything we need is inside us and taking care of ourselves is the number one priority as well as digging deep on a journey of self discovery, accessing a more conscious way of living. Nature, travelling and cultivating a sense of freedom provide further sources of inspiration.

The day we entered the Bon Marche in Paris gave the brand the recognition we worked so hard for. I grew up in Paris and have been living in London for the last 20 years. Of course I have fallen in love with this city and consider myself a Londoner and yet I am from Paris…the link with France is strong which is reflected in the name of the brand and in my heart as well.

We have chosen a timeless design. Relaxayvoo is quietly confident. At home on the bathroom shelf, bedside table or in your travel bag . An object that has a living product inside, with essential oils that work in synergy with the wearer. I rely on my gut instinct for the design process as it has served me well and tend to use this at the beginning of every creative process.

Relaxayvoo is about using the best nature has to offer and bottling it efficiently. This means carefully selecting ingredients at their optimum and respecting a culture of ‘no waste’. Our products only have natural preservatives, which means they don’t last forever on a shelf and are best used within 18 months of production. We produce seasonally, almost ‘à la demande’. We are in control of sourcing the ingredients and maintain a close relationship with our suppliers. We started small and slow growth means we get to reflect and react accordingly when making ethical & sustainable decisions along the way.

Trust your instinct, surround yourself with encouraging people, and go for it! It’s all about the journey -make sure you enjoy the ride!
